Since 2023, Tiny Seeds has awarded almost 150 IVF travel grants to islanders.
These grants support people who fall outside the criteria for Government funding and must cover the full cost of treatment and travel themselves. With IVF requiring trips off-island, costs can quickly add up - financially and emotionally.
Each grant we provide is £400. It’s a practical contribution towards travel, but more than that, it represents something bigger: support, recognition, and a reminder that no one is facing this journey alone.
Why these grants matter
Behind every grant is a person or couple navigating one of the most challenging experiences of their lives.
Fertility treatment can be all-consuming. When you add the cost of flights, accommodation and time away from home, the pressure only increases. Our travel grants are there to ease that burden, even slightly, at a time when it’s needed most.
Demand for support remains high - and right now, our funds are under real pressure.
A community stepping up
We’ve been incredibly grateful to see so many local businesses and individuals step forward to support this work.
From creative fundraising ideas to community-led initiatives, people across Jersey have found meaningful ways to get involved:
- Local businesses have donated proceeds from products and services
- Community groups have organised events and challenges
- Individuals have hosted bake sales, taken on personal fundraising goals, and rallied support
Together, these efforts have already funded multiple IVF travel grants - directly helping islanders access treatment they might otherwise struggle to reach.
Fundraising events
Alongside community-led efforts, we’ve also seen fantastic support through organised events.
A charity quiz hosted by Park Recruitment brought people together for an evening of fundraising, while other events across the Island have contributed vital funds to the travel grant programme.
We also continue to host our own events, including Crafternoon Tea - bringing people together in a supportive, welcoming space while raising funds for this important work.
How you can get involved
